Last week, a School Resource Officer assigned to the building, on Euclid Avenue, began an investigation after a student reported being assaulted in a bathroom near the gym on the first floor.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, the student told investigators the assault occurred during the first two weeks of the 2024-2025 school year in August when an unknown person entered her stall and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a White or light-skinned individual of unconfirmed gender with a thin build, standing approximately 5-foot-8 to 5-foot9, police say.
At the time of the incident, the suspect was reportedly wearing an animal costume mask, a dark-colored long-sleeve shirt, and full-length pants of an unknown color.
The incident was only recently reported to school staff and police, prompting the ongoing investigation.
